Synopsis: "The Untold Intifada 1958" chronicles the first mass Palestinian uprising after the Nakba within the 1948 borders, which erupted in Nazareth and Um Al-Fahem in May 1958 — a pivotal but largely erased moment in Palestinian history. Through interviews with ten Palestinians who took part in the protest, now aged between 87 and 96, the film reconstructs the events of that moment, when Palestinians in Israel took to the streets after ten years of enforced silence under Israeli military rule. The uprising marked the first large-scale act of defiance and a collective rupture of fear, laying groundwork for an emerging shared political consciousness. Living testimonies are woven with rare archival material — documents, photographs, and media sources — bridging past and present.
