CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
Online Marketing and Communications volunteers
TPFF is searching for marketing and social media coordinators to join our volunteer-run not-for-profit arts organization.
TPFF is a close knit group of professional (and fun) volunteer organizers looking for someone who is passionate about spreading the word on Palestinian film and arts to join our marketing and social media team to help disseminate TPFF’s innovative programming across multiple online platforms.
Position Details:
Develop and execute the organization’s social media and communications strategies
Maintain and grow social media audiences through proactive and reactive community management strategies
Develop fresh, trending, educational, and on-brand content including graphics, videos, and compelling copy
Proactively recommend improvements to social media processes, content and community management
Monitor, analyze and provide reports on the performance of the organization’s social media assets
Gather photo and video content from in-person events and campaign mobilization actions for use on social media channels.
Skills and experience:
Experience developing branded digital and social media content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok
Demonstrated ability to create compelling social media content, including copy, that converts users on advocacy and lead generation objectives
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain engaged social media audiences
Knowledge and experience with social media strategy, digital content creation, and community management
Experience with content creation applications
Experience with e-mail marketing tools; (Mailchimp an asset)
Experience reading and analyzing social media reports and with social media management tools
An understanding of the digital marketing funnel, and the role of social media within larger digital marketing strategies and for achieving organization’s objectives
Strong collaborative and teamwork skills; and an ability to also work independently and meet tights deadlines
Welcomed assets include: French and Arabic language skills and experience in Arab arts and culture.
Working Environment:
Performs most duties remotely from home with weekly digital committee meetings.
TPFF hosts events and collaborations throughout the year, and the main festival is at the end of September.

We are always looking for new volunteers to join our diverse team of dedicated individuals.
There are a number of interesting volunteer opportunities available with TPFF leading up to and during the festival such as neighborhood marketing, copy editing/proofreading, translating, theater coordination, ticketing and more.
As a volunteer you will help to put on an inspiring cultural event, while working with a great team of friendly, supportive, and professional organizers.
