Presenting a fictional Palestinian family as a microcosm of the nation, this tale illuminates both the destructive inter factional strife of recent years and the crucial, yet undervalued role of Palestinian women in holding together families and society under unprecedented strain. This film was made at the Jenin Freedom Theatre as part of the Voices Beyond Walls workshops where children from refugee communities in Palestine learn how to make films.
