This endearing film was inspired by the late Palestinian painter Ismail Shammout (1930-2006) who was expelled to a refugee camp during the Nakba. Struggling to support his family, Ismail and his brother peddle their sweets at the local train station. A fateful wrong turn on their journey home leads them into dangerous territory.
