express their artistic rebellion against patriarchal oppression and Israeli occupation. Inspired by the protagonists from "Alice in Wonderland," "Waiting for Godot" and "Antigone," the film’s directors, who are also actors in the theatre, carry on Juliano’s legacy and use their radical imagination to reinterpret these famous plays to reflect their own narratives as women and artists in Palestine. Art/Violence employs a mix of interviews, theatrical scenes, archival footage and animation to document the dedication of a young, active generation of Palestinian artists.
