In 2004, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) declared that Israel’s construction of a wall within the occupied Palestinian territory is in contravention to international law and called upon Israel to desist from its construction, dismantle those parts already built, and make reparations for all damages caused. To Palestinians the opinion of the ICJ was a historic turning point. However, on the eve of the 11th anniversary of the ICJ verdict, the wall that was supposed to be dismantled continues is near completion. The film provides rare and insightful interviews with the ICJ judges, international law scholars and architects of the wall – revealing the only thing broken is international law.
