KAZDOURA

Kazdoura is a music group that presents Arabic fusion and aims to show the beauty of  maqams presented with other influences.  The project was founded by Leen and Johnny in the summer of 2020. Leen wanted to start a new project performing Arabic classics, but in a modern and re-invented style. When she met multi-instrumentalist (guitarist and saxophonist) Johnny, he was very enthusiastic to learn and play songs from his Arabic background. Together they fused old Arabic songs (some over 50 to 100 years old) with many musical influences such as blues, funk and jazz. Now, Kazdoura is ready to present their debut single "Wein".

Kazdoura is Leen on vocals, Johnny on sax and guitar, Sam on keyboards, and Max on Drums.
