Virtual Pals: Ramadan Edition Storytelling Session "Birds of Palestine" with Sarah Abusarar and Fidaa Ataya


Fidaa Ataya will be joining us live from Palestine. Fidaa is a traditional storyteller, Puppeteer, drama-in-education specialist and Actress. She has performed with Hidden Theatre (Italy) and The Freedom Theatre (Palestine). Fidaa is also the founder and director of Kan Yama Kan group and Al Jarousheh Theatre and Art and Activism residency.

Sarah Abusarar comes from a long line of storytellers on her paternal side. She is an Expressive Art Therapist and a Storyteller who frequently uses storytelling as a tool for social and personal transformation. Sarah facilitates workshops and teaches the art of storytelling to both adults and children. Sarah belongs to Storytellers of Canada and Storytelling Toronto and she has told at various cultural centers, museums, art galleries, festivals, libraries, parks and homes.
