Last year, TPFF screened “The Shebabs of Yarmouk” by Axel Salvatori-Sinz, a poignant documentary about Palestinian youth from a refugee camp in Syria. In December 2013, one of the shebabs – Hassan Hassan – was killed by the Syrian regime. In this personal and touching short film, Salvatori-Sinz writes a letter to Hassan, reflecting on this untimely death and life in Syria.
